A political pressure group is accusing the Manx government of filibustering.
The Positive Action Group says ministers have delayed progressing an official freedom of information bill and will urge the next administration to introduce it as a priority.
Although the bill received its first reading in the House of Keys last week, after an extensive public consultation, it will be up to the new House, after the general election, to decide whether it wants to implement it as law.
It aims to give the public easier access to government information, supporting the principles of openness and transparency.
