Issue of abuse discussed
A public meeting on the issue of abuse generated debate in Douglas on Monday night.
It was organised by the Positive Action Group, in association with Island charity 3S.
The 40-strong audience heard hard-hitting anecdotes from survivors of abuse, and discussed ways in which to tackle the problem in society - whether domestic, sexual, social or in the workplace.
There was lively input when the issue of abuse in foreign cultures was raised.
