'Public Sector Pensions – What Are the Options?'
That's the title of the Positive Action Group's last presentation and public meeting before the summer break.
This evening's speaker will be Douglas Anderson, co-author of the £100,000 Hymans Robertson report entitled 'Design Proposals for a unified Pension Scheme for Public Servants', which was commissioned by the Manx Government.
The Council of Ministers is due to report back to Tynwald next month following six months of consultation with stake holders.
PAG spokesman Chris Blyth says it's important people have a chance to air their views on the subject, and believes the report should be a starting point as far as changes to the system are concerned (play audio file):
The meeting gets underway at 7.30pm at the Manx Legion Club, Market Hill, Douglas.
As with all Positive Action Group public meetings, everybody is welcome to attend.
