Relaxing laws under spotlight
The Positive Action Group's next meeting will focus on reforming drug policy in the Island.
Three years ago, it tackled the subject with the Isle of Man Freethinkers, using the theme The Truth About Drugs, which featured a talk by Professor David Nutt, the former drugs advisor to the UK government.
This time around, head of operations at charity Transform Jane Slater will give a presentation, followed by an audience Q&A.
Also due to speak is local man Ray Lakeman, who lost two sons to accidental drug overdoses.
He'll tell those in attendance why he favours relaxing drug laws.
The meeting will take place at the Manx Legion Club on Monday next week, starting at 7.30pm.
