A driver and passenger have had a lucky escape after their car span off a road in the west of the Island last night.
Emergency services were called to the accident on the Switchback road at just before 7 pm on Friday (2 Jan).
The car left the road, rolled down an embankment and landed on its roof, but both driver and passenger walked away with only cuts and bruises.
Police say the pair were extremely lucky to have avoided more serious injury.
