Lack of vessel could mean cut in passenger capacity
The Steam Packet Company has officially confirmed the P&O Express won’t be bringing visitors to and from the Island next TT.
Chief Executive Mark Woodward says the vessel has been returned to her owners by P&O, meaning she won’t be available for charter next year.
He’s warning that could mean a significant cut in passenger capacity during the Island’s busiest fortnight.
But he says finding an alternative vessel for just two weeks a year in advance will be a difficult job.
