Manx police warn of deceptive collection cards
Police are warning Manx residents of a scam involving parcel collection cards.
Some have received notes from 'Fast Express Couriers' claiming a package was unable to be left as the recipient was out.
However, officers say the purpose of this is to get the victim to call a premium rate number.
Those who receive such a card are reminded local companies will use recognised numbers and won't send such notices with a UK stamp.
The Isle of Man Constabulary says such scams will increase in the run up to Christmas.
