
A Christian organisation is calling on parents in the Isle of Man to make a stand against advertisers who target their children.
Following two years of research, the Mothers' Union has published a report into the commercialisation of childhood.
It's found that more than £350 million a year is spent in Britain on persuading children they want certain items.
The Mothers' Union sees this as exploitation, as it is using youngsters as a means of getting to the family purse.
The organisation's 'Buy Bye Childhood' campaign is aimed at helping families think about what their children are watching, and encouraging advertisers to be more responsible
