Safeguarding board warns of potentially dangerous platforms
Parents on the Island are being urged to learn about apps that can be used by online predators to groom children.
The Isle of Man Safeguarding Board has shared a list of potentially dangerous apps that can put youngsters at risk.
The list includes social media platforms like Facebook and TikTok, as well as messaging apps like WhatsApp and Kik.
The board recommends parents follow advice from the National Network to End Child Abuse by monitoring what their children are downloading as new apps can pose new risks.
