Murray Lambden memorial plaque
On the eve of the Parish Walk, a lifelong devotee to the event will be officially honoured on Douglas Promenade tonight.
A blue plaque for Murray Lambden will be unveiled at 6 o'clock this evening in the sunken gardens opposite the Gaiety Theatre - close to the race's finish line.
The unveiling will be carried out by Murray's widow, Marie, and Jon Joughin, Mayor of Douglas.
The event is open to all, and there will be a small exhibition in Promenade Methodist Church afterwards.
