Parish Walk entries 'slightly up' this year

More than 1200 people expected to take part in event

Entries for the Parish Walk are 'slightly up' this year according to one of its organisers. 

Event director, Ray Cox has confirmed more than 1200 people have signed up.

The 85-mile race gets underway from 8am at the NSC athletics track tomorrow morning (20 June). 

The event - which remains one of the Island's biggest mass-participation occasions - sees people from all different backgrounds take on the walk competitively, for personal goals or for charitable causes.
