New 'Tree for a T' initiative launched
Parish Walk organisers have teamed up with the Isle of Man Woodland Trust for a new 'Tree for a T' initiative.
People registering for this year's event can forego the optional sports t-shirt included in the entry package.
Instead, a £5 donation will be given to the trust to plant a tree.
Raymond Cox is the race director:
This year's Parish Walk will take place on Saturday, 18 June.
People have until next Monday, 31 January to sign up at a discounted rate of £40 - that's reduced to £35 if they're a Manx Telecom customer.
After that it's £50, with entries closing on 8 May.
