People who park their cars where they may obstruct access for the emergency services will soon be getting to hear about it.
The Park Smart campaign, launched today at Douglas Fire Station, aims to cut the number of times crews are prevented from reaching emergencies because of badly parked vehicles.
Chief Fire Officer Brian Draper says that, as well as making people more aware of where they park, the campaign will lead to more direct action being taken to identify poor parkers:

Warning over flare disposal after amenity site fire
Suspended sentence for 56-year-old in cannabis supply case
Owner of a block of flats fined for failing to meet fire safety regulations
