East Douglas MHK says accessibility an issue
Issues with parking and accessibility may have had a role to play in the closure of Shoprite's Chester Street store in Douglas according to one of the area's MHKs.
On Tuesday, it was announced the supermarket would close at the end of business on Saturday.
Bosses blame the closure on a lack of investment in the surrounding area, shifting industry trends and planned disruption to the promenade.
