Police are warning people attending the 'Christmas on the Hill' event at St John's today (Friday) to take extra care on roads and pavements.
Car parking has been arranged behind the Tynwald Inn and in the St John's Primary School car park, but there is still snow and ice in both areas.
Efforts have been made to make them as safe as possible, but motorists are being advised to carefully follow the instructions of the stewards for the event.
Parking restrictions will be in place on the main road through the village, and in Station Road and Glenmooar Road, and police officers will be patrolling the area.
The main road through St John's will be open during the performance and motorists are being asked not to stop to watch the show.
