School run issues in south leave MHK 'frustrated'
Problems with traffic around Arbory School have been described as 'an accident waiting to happen'.
Plans for a new pick-up and drop-off area have been in the pipeline for the past two years however negotiations with landowners and government are said to have broken down.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse believes it needs to be higher on the education minister's list of priorities:
In response the Department of Education, Sport and Culture said: 'The safeguarding and wellbeing of all of our children, young people and staff is of paramount importance.
'The department is currently in the process of completing a full strategic infrastructure review of all its estates.
'Once this work is completed, we will be in a position to determine a clear way forward.
'However interim measures are being considered until this review is completed.'
