The organisation says around 250 people are living with Parkinson's on the Island.

A sold-out event will take place at the Comis Hotel tomorrow (20 October) to discuss Parkinson's and the latest research and information about the disease.

The cause for many suffering with the disease is unknown and is not inherited.

The disease is a condition where parts of the brain become progressively damaged over time

While there’s no cure for Parkinson's treatment is expanding but it does affect everyone differently.

The organisation says it hopes to do more on the Isle of Man in 2027 and says that people can get involved with research.
