Isle of Man Energy undertaking repair works in Ramsey
An emergency road closure has been put in place along the top section of Parliament Street in Ramsey due to a suspected gas leak.
The Department of Infrastructure has shut the road from today (Monday 3 November) until 14 November while Isle of Man Energy repairs and replaces the pipe.
Traffic will be able to access the remainder of Parliament Street via West Street (off West Quay by Commissioner's car park), Christian Street (West Quay or Albert Road) and Tower Street (Albert Road).
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
The DOI says the length of time this closure is in place will depend on how quickly the location of the leak is identified.
