Police assessing road conditions
The Mountain Road is partially closed from the Bungalow to Ramsey following reports of sheet ice.
Police are currently assessing the road from the Creg Ny Baa to the Bungalow which is believed to be passable with care.
An amber warning for ice and wintry showers remains in place until 3pm today.
Forecasters expect temperatures to go as low as minus one degrees Celsius.
