The Liberal Vannin Party has begun selecting people it would like to stand for the House of Keys in next year's general election.
The party’s selection committee started choosing would-be MHKs on Friday.
In a statement, the LVP says over the next month it will hold a number of meetings to interview prospective parliamentary candidates from a list of interested members.
Those wishing to stand will need to be confirmed by the party's executive committee.
After that, the candidates, and the constituencies they will be standing in, will be made public.
