Junior Chamber of Commerce event says no to political parties
The idea of a party political system on the Island was overwhelmingly rejected at a special debate last night (THURS).
LibVan members Kate Beecroft MHK and Lawrie Hooper were arguing their case for the change - with MHKs Chris Robertshaw and Howard Quayle arguing against the motion.
Around 50 people attended the ILS World and Junior Chamber of Commerce event at the Sefton Hotel in Douglas.
