Ministers shouldn't be bound by collective responsibility
Less than a year before the Manx General Election, an MHK insists party politics is the way forward for the Isle of Man.
Lib Van leader Kate Beecroft says government ministers should always support legislation if they feel it is best for the island, rather than be bound by collective responsibility.
Mrs Beecroft says political parties historically outline their policies before an election.
She thinks that gives them a public mandate if successful which is a far more suitable alternative.
