Helicopter sent to vessel
It's been confirmed a passenger on yesterday afternoon's Ben-my-Chree sailing died after being taken ill during the crossing.
A Coastguard rescue helicopter was sent to the vessel to help staff with medical aid.
However, despite their best efforts, the 67-year-old man from England passed away.
Emergency services assisted with the incident after the vessel arrived at Douglas port.
No further information on the incident has been made available.
