A former airline chief on the Island says the government committee investigating the Island's air services didn't take up an opportunity to hear from the boss of Guernsey's state airline.
Terry Liddiard, now a spokesman on air travel for passenger watchdog TravelWatch, was reacting to a claim by Mark Darby, Chief Executive of Aurigny, that the Open Skies policy being used in the Isle of Man and Jersey doesn't work.
Mr Darby believes the licenced system in operation at Guernsey Airport protects vital routes and gives their business sector a competitive advantage.
