First covid fatality on Island since November
A patient at Noble’s Hospital has died of Covid-19.
It's the first death from the virus on the Island since 5 November.
Twenty six people on the Isle of Man have now lost their lives to the virus since the start of the pandemic.
The chief minister says the news 'will come as a blow to our community'.
Howard Quayle says he's sure the thoughts of everyone will be with this person’s family and loved ones.
He added: “The death of a member of our Island community is a painful reminder of how dangerous this virus is. Please stay at home as much as possible. It will save lives.”
