Change comes after talks with health officials
You can now book an eye test at opticians across the Island, but you'll have to wear a mask in the room where the assessment is taking place.
It's one of the safety measures agreed by government health officials and the Isle of Man Association of Optometrists.
The two parties have been meeting over the last few weeks to thrash out a plan for the reintroduction of the tests.
Opticians have been offering repairs and selling glasses since some Covid-19 restrictions eased, but due to safety concerns, eye test had been put on hold.
Secretary Nick Skillicorn, who's also the director of Gillian Sheard opticians, explains what new rules are in place:

'Bleak future' for Manx businesses if people don't shop local
Declining amount of food production 'quite frightening'
Charity continuing to provide support to family of murdered teenager
'Significant progress' on Manxman repairs over the last week
