Proposed legislation wouldn't be available to those with conditions like dementia
Those who lose the capacity to make their own decisions about their healthcare wouldn't be able to use proposed new legislation on assisted dying.
A public consultation opened earlier this month on plans to introduce laws legalising assisted dying on the Isle of Man.
It's after the House of Keys granted Ramsey MHK Alex Allinson permission to progress the proposals.
