Staff at Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital will soon be teaching patients with chronic conditions how to help each other.
The Expert Patients Programme encourages people suffering from cardiac problems, arthritis and many other long-term conditions to use their experiences to support fellow patients.
Experts from the United Kingdom have been showing hospital staff how the programme works and explaining why it's important.
