Election for two commissioners taking place on December 8
People in Port Erin need to vote 'if they want to see change'.
That's the plea from Dawn Curry who's standing, for one of two commissioner seats, in the by-election in the south.
She wants to improve public transport and try and boost the healthcare service.
Local Democracy Reporter Emma Draper spoke to her:
The by-election is taking place on 8 December to fill two vacant seats - six people are standing for election.
Residents can vote at Port Erin Commissioners' Office on Bridson Street from 8am until 8pm.
The other candidates standing are:
- John Anslow
- Adele Betteridge
- Hayley Fox
- David Silvester
- Ian Swindells
The Local Democracy Reporting Service has invited all the candidates to be interviewed ahead of the election.
