DEFA to propose Tynwald strategy next week
Member of the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture Ralph Peake believes it's important the Island is seen to be acting on the issue of climate change.
It comes as a National Sea Defences, Flood and Coastal Erosion strategy goes before Tynwald this month.
In it, DEFA sets out plans to protect the worst affected areas in the Island from serious damage.
Mr Peake says the issue can't be ignored.
