A local primary school has used a Tynwald technique to enforce its own rules.
Peel Clothworkers' held a mock Tynwald Day ceremony on Wednesday.
A representative from the Commissioners, school officials and pupils walked in procession to a 'hill' which was set up in the main car park.
They sang the Manx National Anthem, fenced the court, and the school rules were read out in Manx and English.
Pupils were then invited to present Petitions for Redress which will be discussed by the school council and if accepted, will be included in next year's school rules.
In the afternoon despite the weather there was a Tynwald Fair, with pupils taking part in various activities - including soak the teacher which proved very popular!
