32-year-old told police he was going to 'stab' officers
A Peel man will be sentenced later this year after admitting making offensive or menacing calls to the emergency services.
Jamie Roy Griffin, of Corran Pirragh, called the Emergency Services Joint Control Room at around 4am on 16 June.
The 32-year-old claimed he'd been beaten up in the town centre and was going to go to his attacker's house with a knife to hurt him in return.
When police rang him back he said he would 'stab any officer' who came to his address.
Officers attended his property and several hours later arrested him.
At Douglas Courthouse Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood adjourned the case until 2 July.
