Fined £600 - additional £50 in court costs
A Peel man who crashed less than a year after having his licence restored has been disqualified from driving for six months.
Twenty-eight-year-old Kieran Bernard Baxter had already admitted driving without due care and attention.
It's after an incident on the Poortown Road in July.
Kieran Baxter's car was said to have 'spun and flipped' after a collision with a stone wall near the road's junction with the Ballig Bridge.
He'd only had his licence restored last year following a seven-year disqualification for a serious driving offence in 2011.
Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes gave Baxter credit for his early guilty plea - but called the incident a 'significant road traffic collision by anyone's standards.'
The court heard he was still subject to 'R' plate restrictions at the time of the crash.
Mrs Hughes disqualified Baxter from driving for six months, fined him £600 and ordered him to pay £50 in costs.
