Chris Garrett, a Manxman from Peel and living in Kyiv, who is teaching Ukrainians bomb disposal, is concerned for the safety of two ex-army colleagues who have been captured by Russian forces.
British fighters, Aiden Aslin and Shaun Pinner were caught trying to defend Mariupol in the east of the country and are now prisoners of war in Donetsk.
The pair had been living in the country for some time when the invasion began.
Garrett, who is a volunteer with the Ukrainian National Police's EOD Unit which deals with unexploded weapons says, even though they're alive, he's worried about what they may be going through:
