47-year-old also been accused of indecent assault
A Peel man who has been accused of rape will stand trial.
Paul McCormack, of Castle Street, appeared before the Court of General Gaol Delivery at Douglas Courthouse.
The 47-year-old denies raping the complainant, and indecently assaulting her twice, on 6 December 2020.
Trial dates will be set on 30 June; he’s been bailed until that date.
Update: In September 2023 McCormack entered guilty pleas to two offences of indecent assault. He was sentenced at Douglas Courthouse on 1 December. You can find the full details HERE. A charge of rape was withdrawn by the prosecution.
