Problems need correcting
Further work in Peel's Market Square shouldn't be overly disruptive and shouldn't take more than a few weeks.
That's according to Peel Town Clerk Derek Sewell.
He was speaking after a section of the square was dug up again, just a few weeks after the lengthy re-generation scheme work was completed.
Mr Sewell says the scheme was completed by the contractor just ahead of TT practice week, but some problems have now been identified and need correcting.
In addition to the remedial works, Mr Sewell says some benches are being fitted, trees planted and landscaping work being carried out and he's been advised this will take no longer than six weeks.
