Dining by Chris Franklin hindered by East Quay renovations
A restaurant on Peel's East Quay, which has been open for less than a year, is to close tomorrow for the final time due to what it calls 'extremely difficult' trading conditions.
Dining by Chris Franklin, which moved into the former Filbey's site in August 2022, says the unsustainable cost of produce and rising utilities, combined with the ongoing quayside renovations, have made it impossible to continue.
The owner says it's not the end of the chapter for him, however, and Chris Franklin Dining and Events outside Catering is to return 'very soon'.
