Plans were revealed last week
A Peel Commissioner says the plans for the new sewage plant are a 'positive' thing for the town.
Ray Harmer says it's a 'massive' step forward and residents have waited a 'long time' for treatment works.
Plans for the site were revealed last week and will be built on three fields next to the power station and access to the site will be from Glenfaba Road.
Mr Harmer hopes the sewage plant will also improve Peel Beach's bathing water status.
