Negotiations for teachers, police and judges' pensions
Policy and Reform Minister John Shimmin says Tynwald did the right thing this week when it backed his plan to start tackling the government’s public sector pension deficit.
The court resisted calls for a delay while a new report was compiled into the problem, and voted to spend money slowing the rate at which the problem is growing.
There’ll also be negotiations over pensions for teachers, police and judges with more detailed plans expected after the election.
