The people of Rushen are being urged to back a new organisation which is looking after the history and heritage of the area.
The Rushen Heritage Trust will be officially launched this Friday.
It was formed in April with the aim of collecting memories and artefacts from around the Parish.
Over the next few weeks and months there will be a series of pop-up exhibitions on various subjects including the sea, military and stories of the land.
Trust Manager Graham Hall says the launch will give an insight into the sorts of things they're looking for.
The launch, at Port St Mary Town Hall this Friday from 7pm, is open to everyone.
