Police are appealing for witnesses
Police say the incident happened at around 2 o'clock in the morning yesterday (Friday 19 June) just off Glen Maye and Patrick Road on the outskirts of Peel.
Anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have information is being urged to contact Police Headquarters on 631212, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Officers say it's being treated as an isolated incident, and that there's not believed to be any wider risk to the public.
