The Department of Agriculture has moved to protect the Island's bees.
The 'Bee Diseases and Pest Control (Isle of Man) Order 2008' has been introduced to try and help prevent the spread of disease through the Island's colonies.
In the UK a pest known as the Varroa mite has caused a significant drop in bee numbers, although it's not believed to be present on the Island.
Agriculture Minister Phil Gawne (pictured) says despite a rather low-key name, the order is a very important one:
