Some owners are looking to rehome animals
Rehoming pets should not be an option for people struggling to feed their pets.
That's from the founder of a new organisation on the Island that aims to assist animal owners with a pet food bank.
Helen MacAffer and her friends created Pet Food Pantry Isle of Man to assist people who don't have the finances to feed their animals and are looking at rehoming as an option.
She says there is help especially for those who rely on their pet to avoid loneliness:
