The Killen family is trying to get home after the death of their mother
A petition has been created by a Manx-born family for government to ease border restrictions on compassionate grounds for anyone grieving over the death of a loved one during the pandemic.
The Killen family recently lost their mum, Jean, to terminal cancer.
Tim, Dean and Elly, who currently live in the UK and Australia, have contacted the Manx government asking for permission to travel to the Island to attend their mum's funeral and support their dad, Eddie.
However, due to the current restrictions, they're unable to do so.
Tim says they just want a conversation with government about possibilities:
Government has been contacted for a response.
