Peel Commissioners to take it back in 2027 for maintenance work
A petition's been launched calling for Peel Commissioners to reverse its decision to take back Peel Sailing Club's lease.
The local authority says it won't renew it in 2027 so it can do maintenance work on the electrics, plumbing and the roof.
The Sailing Club has previously told Manx Radio it's 'angry' about the decision.
The organisers of the petition say the club is a valuable part of the Peel community and want assurances about the future of the facility.
