Four types affected, after cats become ill
Pets At Home is recalling a type of dry cat food it sells, after three cats reportedly fell ill.
According to the company, the pets "exhibited symptoms of sudden collapse, fitting, widespread twitching and general unsteadiness" after eating the biscuits.
The four types of food being recalled are from the AVA range, which is aimed at senior and neutered cats.
They are the 2kg and 4kg bags of chicken flavour for mature cats, the 2kg one for senior cats and the 1.5kg bag for "adult neutered indoor' cats.
Pets at Home says customers will be given a full refund.
They should dispose of the food and take the packaging back to get the refund.
