Liz raised nearly eight times her fundraising goal earlier this year!
A fundraiser from Andreas has described the generosity displayed in supporting her this year as 'phenomenal'.
This summer, Liz Hignett took on two 'walks of life' to raise funds for the Isle of Man Anti-Cancer Association - all in memory of her husband Darren, who died of bladder cancer last year.
One took her around Liverpool (24-25 August) and the other around the Island (14-15 September).
She was aiming to raise £500, but received nearly £4,000 in sponsorship, with a grand total of £3,760.
After the first walk, she had raised nearly £1,500.
