Fire in Greeba last night
Landowners are being urged to consider how quickly fires can spread in dry weather.
It follows a four hour emergency call out to a heath fire in Greeba yesterday.
Firefighters from Douglas, Laxey, Peel, Kirk Michael, Rushen and Ramsey attended the blaze at 6pm.
The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service says tackling it was a 'very physically demanding process' due to its location and limited water supplies.
It says it's working with the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture to identify the cause.
