A candlelit pilgrimage will be held in the grounds of Rushen Abbey later this month, as part of a week long festival.
The evening will begin with supper in the Parish Hall of the Abbey Church in Ballasalla, after which there will be a procession to the abbey grounds, for an act of worship.
The pilgrimage will be part of 'Praying the Keeills' week, which begins on Saturday and has events at keeill sites across the Island.
A keeill is a type of chapel built during the medieval period.
The event at Rushen Abbey is on Friday, May 22, at 9pm.
