MUA water mains run through Noble's park
The presence of two large water mains under Noble's Park has changed Douglas Council's plans for a new skate park.
Manx Utilities had to advise the corporation about the the pipes, forcing the local authority to find a new location for the skate facility, but within a significantly reduced area.
A new site has been found within Noble's by the Council, below the large gravel car park adjacent to the BMX track.
Officers also report the tarmac underneath the old skate-park could be used for recreational purposes.
The Regeneration and Community Committee has approved the relocation.
